1. There is a difference between an orthodontist and a general dentist. An orthodontist has a minimum of two years specialized training in orthodontics at an accredited university program. Dr. Rob van den Berg has completed three years of orthodontic training at the University of California, San Francisco and has 15 years experience as an orthodontist.
2. We are proud to have established great working relationships with the dentists in the area. Our office works closely with your dentist to help ensure your dental health before, during, and at the end of the orthodontic treatment process.
3. The instruments we use, as well as the treatment area, are maintained to the highest standards of infection control for your safety. Digital orthodontic X-rays are taken in the office and are included with your orthodontic treatment contract.
4. Pacific Coast Orthodontics offers convenient evening appointments as well as Saturday appointments.

Our office features the latest in orthodontic innovation, such as Invisalign® G4, Invisalign Teen™, Insignia™ custom digital braces to shorten treatment time, and Incognito™ custom braces behind the teeth and hidden from view. Our orthodontic team regularly attends continuing education events to remain at the forefront of the latest developments in orthodontic technology and comfort.
6. Dr. Rob van den Berg is a member of the Invisalign Clinical Faculty and teaches Invisalign to other doctors locally and around the country. He has contributed to four of the patents in the Invisalign intellectual property portfolio.

The highly detailed digital models are generated with a light wand for better fitting orthodontic appliances including OrthoCAD iQ braces and Invisalign. Turnaround time for Invisalign is cut in half with the iTero system.

Several times during the year we all get dressed up for theme day, such as Red, White & Blue Day, Crazy Socks Day, Western Day, and Superbowl Spirit Day, to name a few.
